Back up files will create a backup of all personal files and folders while back up computer will create a complete backup of the whole computer. It is strongly indicated to create a full data back up of your computer after the computer has been setup for the first time. Windows Vista will take a snapshot of all the programs, settings and files. This snapshot can be deployed even in the event when your computer stops working and then it will restore it to the original state.
